NEWS: Audi initiates ad war with BMW AGAIN!


They’re at it once again.

Last year the boys from Germany took pot shots at each other on the large billboards all over America proclaiming their brand and taking a dig at either of their competitors in one of the more interesting automobile ad wars we’ve seen in some time.

With 2010 started, Audi decided to swing the first punch (video below) with their 30 second tv spot that clearly states that there can never be two winners in anything, how they won three car and driver comparisons in a row and how BMW knows how it feels being second best.

Not to be outdone, the Bavarian company has come out with a response (video below) to Audi’s dig with a calm and collected commercial showing how efficiency and vehicle dynamics aren’t mutually exclusive. Not exactly the fierce and direct response we were hoping for but they send the message clearly across with a boy getting a good portion of air time with his bright red Audi cap on and at the end where the BMW sales kid looks out the window and proclaims that those two elements that BMW have been promoting in recent years are available “in almost every car” in the school carpark, with an Audi A4 standing out amongst the host of white BMW’s.
