UPDATED: 3 Lamborghini Reventon Roadsters arriving in Singapore? Try 4!

And not as a display piece! We’re not exactly sure how many are waiting to be delivered to overseas buyers, but we’re assuming at least one of the 3 examples that will land here, have been bought locally.

ea8ff_01-reventon-roadster-live_optAfter Lamborghini announced that they will be building “less than 20” examples of their ultra-exclusive Reventon Roadster, they released a video illustrating exactly how slim your chances were in owning one of these morbid creations. So there’s really no wonder why some collectors in the UAE have been left distressed, throwing their mint tea pots against the walls.

But what’s more disturbing is that out of those examples which have been spoken for, 3 of them have been slated for arrival on our shores! All 687 sq km of it!

Talking with someone who deals with Lamborghini, he (or is he, a she?Mysterious…) was quick to point out that Singapore can’t be considered a hypercar virgin. No, she lost that to the Bugatti Veyron earlier this year while awaiting transfer to its buyer in Malaysia.

Then there is the Alfa Romeo 8C. Only in LHD, two examples currently reside in Singapore, with one said to have already been bought by, again, a Malaysian customer and is awaiting transfer.

With the Reventon Roadster however, there are RHD models available. So although a massive 3 models will be arriving, there is a very real possibility for at least 1 of them to be delivered to a very lucky, and assumingly wealthy (probably old and also owns an S-Class in black) individual here in Singapore.

My predictions: 1 will be locally owned. Road tax is nothing to some people (the hard-top was priced at $1 M Euro’s before tax). Which kinda gives me a good idea of who the owner might be….any guesses?

Anyways here’s the video that riled up the guys in UAE, in HD of course.

Edit: It’s confirmed that 2 are RHD’s while the last piece is a LHD.

*UPDATE: A reliable source has confirmed with me a grand total of 4 uber-exclusive roadsters will be delivered to their owners this year, with one of them being Mr Supercar himself, Tommie Goh.

recently i asked a guy from the lambo showroom. he told me tat only 2 reventons will be available in LHD not RHD. its similar to the super trofeo. only for collectors. And after asking him a few questionsim kind of sure tat the reventon is gonna be sold to Tommie Goh.

  17. November 20, 2009 at 4:21 pm

No suprises there really…so both are in LHD? What about the 3rd one? So none are RHD? That’s not what my contact told me though…hmm…need to double check now

yep. None in RHD. I asked a guy who was incharge of recieving lambos in the showroom. He was there when a yellow lp560 was being unloaded from a truck. then i asked him abt the reventon…..he said only 2 in LHD similar to the super trofeo. for collectors.

@iDriver. If it’s not LHD. It can be middle drived like the Mclaren F1? lol. No.
If it’s not LHD. Then it’s definitely RHD.

and I guess it’s the guy who owns the Yellow Scuderia 16M?

I’m guessing it’s the guy who has the fighter camo vinyls on the LP640? I know he already has 4 in his garagex and he has an S-class too..
